Who we are

The Comboni Italian Center (CIC) is an Italian language and culture center established in May 2016 in Khartoum, Sudan. We are based at the Comboni College of Science & Technology. We offer Italian language courses of different levels and promote educational and cultural activities to help our students not only in learning the language and knowledge of Italian culture, but more importantly to create community and family. We are an accredited exam center for the following international certificates of knowledge of the Italian language; PLIDA (Dante Alighieri Society) and CELI (University for Foreigners of Perugia) and we offer dedicated preparation courses. Since 15th April 2023, our office has been closed due to the internal war in the country, but online activities continue.
